![]() I don't know about everyone else, but I don't watch reality shows to watch people behave disingenuously. The way he's developed into a caricature of himself is extremely off-putting. I never really cared for Jeff, even from his first episode. I can't say what I would do in the same situation, but he seems almost proud of his attitude about it. There's no need to actively sabotage other survivalists. I get that it's not technically a team challenge, and people shouldn't expect to get something for nothing, but one might hope that you actually care about others. You put shit in other people's way, and notice that it's in people's way but do nothing about it, that makes you a selfish dick.Īs far as his refusal to share food last season, I'm on the fence about it. I know the whole "sign thing" with Matt as staged, but his response of "everyone else is fine ducking under it, not my problem" is another example of his selfishness. ![]() He doesn't give a crap if he's scaring off the game, because all he does is fish passively, and raises hell like he's the greatest angler to ever live when he catches something. He stands by his shouting as "I like to have fun" and has the attitude that he doesn't care what others think about it. They're leaving the area, and Team Savage is suffering. I doubt his screaming actually scared off a deer exactly the way they showed, but animals don't like loud noises. As Matt mentioned, his loudness is scaring away the local game. The screaming over every single thing he does is not only annoying, it's detrimental to the other survivalists. ![]() I decided to give myself a day to "cool down" about it and digest.ĭidn't help. In the moment while watching the most recent episode last night, I really disliked Jeff.
